Entertainment Weekly showed the first exclusive images of Lto Little Mermaid, the awaited live-action signed by Disney. Among the protagonists of the photos Halle Bailey, Javier Bardem And Mellissa McCarthyrespectively in the roles of Ariel, King Triton and Ursula.

Anticipation for the film is growing. Halle Bailey will star in The little Mermaid bringing the beloved Disney princess back to the big screen. Entertainment Weekly exclusively showed some shots of the film providing the public with an unprecedented look at the work directed by Rob Marshall, behind the camera of many successful films, including Chicago, Memoirs of a geisha And Into the Woods.
The images show Halle Bailey, Javier Bardem, Melissa McCarthy and Jonah Hauer-King, the latter in the role of Prince Eric. Daveed Diggs, Jacob Tremblay, Awkwafina, Art Malik and Noma Dumezweni also star in the film.
In March Halle Bailey posted the new poster of the film on the Instagram profile with over four million followers. The shot received positive comments from the public, collecting hundreds of thousands of likes.
The actress also presented Doll inspired by her character: “This is the new de doll The little Mermaid, I’m really speechless because this means a lot to me, having one that looks like me, my favorite Disney character, is really surreal. And look, she’s got my mole too.”
