“I’m back baby”. In the teaser trailer of FUBARthe new Netflix action-comedy series to be released on May 25th, Arnold Schwarzenegger smokes a cigar, walks in the dark lit by the flames and drives a motorcycle at full speed, then reloads the gun and sets off to shoot, and finally receives a shot in the testicles because “this is what you deserve for being sentimental”. Over eight episodes of the show, Schwarzenegger’s first major television project who, despite a few small roles and appearances in reality TV and scripted, has never starred in a live-action series, the actor plays Luke Brunnera CIA operative now nearing retirement who discovers a family secret and returns to the field to one last mission between action and humor. The plot actually tells the story of a father and a daughter who, unbeknownst to each other, are both spy agents. “Everywhere I go, people ask me when I’m going to do another great action comedy like True Liesthe ex-Terminator said in a statement. “Well, here it is. FUBAR it will kick your ass and make you laugh – and not just for two hours. But for an entire season”.

Created by Nick Santora, former writer of episodes of Law & Order, Prison Break And scorpionas “the most surreal project” of his career, the series brings back Schwarzenegger after the last films of 2019 Iron Mask – The legend of the dragon And Terminator – Dark Fate and features such stars as Monica Barbaro (who played fighter pilot Natasha “Phoenix” Trace in Top Gun: Maverick), Milan Carter, Gabriel Luna, Fortune Feimster, Travis Van Winkle, Fabiana Udenio, Barbara Eve Harris, Aparna Brielle, Andy Buckley and Jay Baruchel.
