The official trailer of the film is out The spring of my life, the film that marks the big screen debut of Colapesce and Dimartino. The two singers will make their film debut immediately after the Sanremo Festival.
In these hours Vision Distribution, Wildside (a company of the Fremantle group) and Sugar Play have presented the video that anticipates what we will see in the eagerly awaited film, to be released as a special event in Italian cinemas from 20 to 22 February.
Colapesce and Dimartino are among the most awaited artists competing at the next Sanremo festival, in which they will participate with the song Splash (Number One/Sony Music). The song is also featured in the end credits of the film The spring of my life.
This film is very personal and involving for the two musicians, since they are not only the protagonists but also the authors of the story, the screenplay and the original soundtrack (to be released by CAM Sugar).

The film
The spring of my life it’s a road movie directed by Zavvo Nicolosi, here in his directorial debut. The film features many special musical guests such as Madame, Roberto Vecchioni, Brunori Sas, ErlandØye and La Comitiva.
In the cast, in addition to the two singers who play the protagonists, we find Stefania Rocca in the role of their eccentric manager; Corrado Fortuna, a mechanic who is a big fan of the Doors; Demetra Bellina, the mysterious Sofia. These are the main characters who will accompany the protagonists in an odyssey that mixes surreal images and highly poetic moments.
The screenplay is by Michele Astori, Antonio Di Martino, Lorenzo Urciullo and Zavvo Nicolosi from a subject by Di Martino, Urciullo and Nicolosi.
The spring of my life is produced by Mario Gianani and Lorenzo Gangarossa for Wildside, a company of the Fremantle group, by Vision Distribution, co-produced by Filippo Sugar and Elisabetta Biganzoli for Sugar Play, in collaboration with Sky and Prime Video with the support of the Sicily Region, Department of Tourism of the Sport and Entertainment, Sicily Film Commission.
The film will be released in theaters as a special event February 20-22, 2023 with Vision Distribution.
The plot
The spring of my life tells the adventurous story of two friends, linked by a common musical past. After breaking their musical and professional partnership, Antonio (Dimartino) gets back in touch with Lorenzo (Colapesce) after a long period in which the two have not spoken to each other. Antonio proposes to his former colleague a new, very mysterious project. Music has nothing to do with it anymore, but Lorenzo decides to accept, and so the two begin a reckless and exciting adventure. Antonio and Lorenzo will have to come to terms with their past and with themselves. Until a shocking revelation…
