The Well arrives in the States
Dark, full of mystery and gore, The well sees protagonist Lauren LaVera (Terrifier 2) as Lisa Gray, a young restorer who travels to a small Italian village to bring a medieval painting to its former glory. But little does she know that she is putting her life in danger due to a curse linked to a monster created and nurtured by the most extreme pain.
The screening at the Screamfest Horror Film Festival – which is held at the prestigious Grauman’s Mann Chinese 6 in Hollywood and is considered the Sundance of the genre – represents a further important milestone for a work like The well and for its author, who, after Shadow – The shadow And Tulpa – Deadly perditions, continues its journey in the field of Italian horror cinema, so much so that it can be considered the most active and requested name in the genre in a historical period that seems increasingly distant from the golden era of tricolor fear on celluloid in the Seventies and Eighties. It is no coincidence that many other specialized festivals around the world are continuing to be interested in having the film on their billboards.
