The World Wellness Weekend is back

From Friday 16 to Sunday 18 September, 120 countries participate to promote psychophysical well-being. In Italy the whole Val di Fiemme participates, here are the initiatives

Back on World Wellness Weekend, an international event that since 2017 has involved 120 countries to promote psychophysical well-being as a lifestyle, based on the five pillars of the initiative: rest and creativity, nutrition and immunity, movement and vitality, mindfulness and serenity, motivation and solidarity. The sixth edition will be held on the weekend of 16-18 September and Val di Fiemme is confirmed as the only reality in the world to participate with its entire territory with initiatives that will have the Dolomites Unesco Heritage and the Violin Forest as a backdrop, including excursions , flowery aperitifs, greetings to the sun and music at the top. Here are some previews of the program.



Friday 16 September at 16.00 the start of the World Wellness Weekend 2022 will take place with the second edition of “Dolomites Well-Being Summit 2022”, a convention dedicated to wellness promoted by local companies, hosted at the Palafiemme di Cavalese, with the participation of four companies of Val di Fiemme (Starpool, La Sportiva, Pastificio Felicetti and Fiemme Tremila). At 5.30 pm, the “Dolomite Sunset” walk will accompany the participants to a refuge to take part in a thanksgiving dance in the sun. A flowery aperitif with Fiemme cheeses among the petals will delight those present and the return to the valley will be enveloped by the front lights.

Saturday 17th September, in the woods surrounding Cavalese will take place “The augmented forest”, an experiential walk open to all for a reconnection with their senses. Walking, you can discover the Wellbeing district, the district of Fiemme companies that export well-being all over the world.

The day of Sunday 18 September it will start at 5.45 am with a one-hour walk towards the Dolomite peak of Corno Bianco. At 12 noon, on the Lavazé Plateau, the Sounds of the Dolomites: Andrea Dulbecco, Alessandro Bianchini, Marco Micheli and Nicola Angelucci in a tribute to the music of Chick Corea. Also this year the first yoga festival in Val di Fiemme returns, “Fiemme Namaste” at the Biolago di Predazzo, 17 and 18 September: two days of yoga and many different styles of practice, from yoga nidra to vinyasa flow, and then Taijii , sound baths, meridian gymnastics and many accompanying holistic activities.
