Third dose of Covid vaccine, new circular from the extraordinary commissioner for the Covid emergency Francesco Figliuolo to the Regions. In the provision they are indicated the minimum number of vaccine inoculations per day, both for third doses and for the others, which “it is considered desirable to achieve” in the period from 1 to 12 December. ” Taking into account – writes Figliuolo – the current epidemiological framework and in the consideration that there is a wide availability of doses whose use must be understood in a balanced sense between the two types of mRna vaccines currently in distribution ”.
On this occasion ” reiterates the top priority to be guaranteed in favor of the categories most vulnerable to Covid-19 by age and / or high fragility and those for which thevaccination obligation”.
The target of inoculations, indicated by Commissioner Figliuolo, is 4.6 million vaccines from 1 to 12 December, with an average of about 400 thousand inoculations per day.
In detail, the total is divided nationally into 400 thousand daily administrations in the period from 1 to 3 December, 350 thousand on 4 December, 300 thousand on 5 December, 450 thousand on 6 and 7 December, 300 thousand on 8 December, 450 thousand on 9 and 10 December, 350 thousand on 11 December and 300 thousand on 12 December.
