After the photos taken of Scorsese and Chalamet in an interior of New York, the two took to the streets to film new sequences. The actor, in a polka dot shirt and then with a brightly colored fur sweatshirt, he seemed taken in his role which, however, is still difficult to decipher.
If Chalamet becomes the next face of Chanel Blue, it would become the Gaspard Ulliel’s successor, testimonial of the fragrance for twelve years, from 2010 to 2022, the year of his tragic and untimely death. The French actor, who had been the first face of men’s perfume in the 2000s, was the protagonist of many designer commercials, signed by James Gray, Steve McQueen and from the same Scorsese who had directed a commercial for Chanel Blue in 2010. Chanel remembered Ulliel during the brand’s show in January 2022 one month after the fatal accident involving the actor and model. On that occasion, the white camellias, symbol of the brand, were tinged with the blue of the perfume bottle for the latest release.
