Tour de France: in the footsteps of the champions will tell the sacrifices, pain, efforts and joys behind one of the most famous sporting competitions in the world. The Netflix Italia YouTube channel has distributed the official trailer of the docu-series.

The production will reveal new sides of the2022 edition of the Tour de France, the race that attracts great attention and curiosity every year with twentyone stages during which some of the strongest cyclists in the world battle it out to conquer the top step of the podium.
Netflix (also visible on Sky Glass, Sky Q and via the app on Now Smart Stick) has distributed the trailer showing the first official images of the docu-series between happiness, tears and backstage.
In parallel, the streaming platform has published the official synopsis on the production sheet: “This docuseries follows the cyclists of different teams who challenge each other between tears and triumphs in the 2022 edition of the most grueling race in the world”
Finally, Netflix has announced that Tour de France: in the footsteps of the champions will debut on the streaming platform (also visible on Sky Glass, Sky Q and via the app on Now Smart Stick) in a few days, more precisely Thursday 8 June.
