Transport stopped next Friday, information and time slots guaranteed in the three cities
National transport strike Friday 29 September 2023with possible inconvenience for users in Rome, Milan, Turin and in various cities due to the 24-hour stop on buses and metro and the staff of the companies that manage transport. Rome
In Rome the agitation could affect the Atac network and the peripheral buses managed by Roma Tpl. The service will however be regular until 8.30am and from 5pm to 8pm. During the strike, therefore, the service will be guaranteed exclusively during the legal periods. In the Roma Capitale area, the strike concerns not only the entire Atac network and the entire RomaTpl network: on the Atac network the strike also concerns the connections carried out by other operators under subcontracting.
For the night between 28 and 29 September, the service of night bus lines is NOT GUARANTEED (lines whose names begin with “n”). However, the service of the daytime lines which have scheduled runs beyond midnight and the night runs of the lines 38-44-61-86-170-246-301-451-664-881-916-980 is GUARANTEED
For the day of September 29th, trips GUARANTEED on the entire network from the start of daytime service at 8.30 am and from 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm. However, the service on the entire network from 8.31am to 4.59pm and from 8.01pm to the end of the daytime service is NOT GUARANTEED. ABC metro runs scheduled after midnight are NOT GUARANTEED. Therefore, daytime lines that have runs scheduled after midnight are NOT GUARANTEED. 24 and the night runs of lines 8-38-44-61-86-170-246-301-451-664-881-916-980.
For the night between 29 and 30 September, GUARANTEED night bus service (lines whose name begins with “n”). However, the ABC metro service and the daytime lines that have scheduled runs after midnight are NOT GUARANTEED after midnight; night trips on lines 8-38-44-61-86-170-246-301-451-664-881-916-980
During the strike, the escalator, elevator and stairlift service will not be guaranteed in the stations of the metro-railway network that remain, possibly open. Ticket office service is not guaranteed during the strike; Interchange car parks remain open.
Milan
As regards the ATM lines, in Milan, the strike could have consequences on the lines from 8.45am to 3pm and after 6pm, until the end of service. Therefore, as regards the Como-Brunate Funicular, the unrest could have consequences on the service from 8.30am to 4.30pm and after 7.30pm.
Turin
In Turin public transport service guaranteed in the following time slots:
URBAN-SUBURBAN service, SUBWAY, CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTERS from 6.00 to 9.00 and from 12.00 to 15.00. EXTRA-URBAN service, SFmA RAIL REPLACEMENT BUS Service – Turin-Airport-Germagnano-Ceres, from the start of service at 8.00 am and from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
RAIL SERVICE sfm1 – Rivarolo-Chieri: from 6.00 to 9.00 and from 18.00 to 21.00. The completion of departing journeys within the end of the guaranteed service slots will be ensured. The strike could also have repercussions on the various services managed by GTT, with consequent possible inconvenience for customers.
