Traveling with the Bank of Italy to Bologna 24 and 25 October

The Bank of Italy’s journey to promote financial culture continues towards Bologna which hosts the ninth stage of the project on 24 and 25 October.

The theme chosen for “la Dotta” is “We are not alone, the Bank of Italy for legality” to talk about protection, rules and the fight against crime.

On 24 October everyone is invited from 9.00 to 16.00 to the open day of Palazzo Cipolla, the Bolognese headquarters of the Bank of Italy which – after hosting over 2,000 people in the recent FAI Autumn Days – returns to open its doors proposing an itinerary to discover the artistic heritage of the Bank and the services offered to citizens. At 2.30 pm, the module “You and the economy – Orienting yourself to choose better”, the new training program dedicated to adults living in fragile conditions, will also be held at the headquarters.

On the afternoon of October 24th, the Sala della Guardia of the Prefecture of Bologna will host the conference “Prevention and combating money laundering: PA focus”. It will be an opportunity to discuss the role of the PA in combating money laundering with experts from the Bank of Italy, the Financial Information Unit for Italy and the authorities present in the area.

The theme of the stage is also the name of the main event scheduled for Wednesday 25 October at 10.00 am at the Oratorio S. Filippo Neri. We will talk about the fight against economic crime with its main opponents, from the Anti-Money Laundering Supervision and Regulation Unit to the Financial Information Unit for Italy, from the Public Prosecutor’s Office to the Financial Police, from the Emilia-Romagna Region to the Municipality of Bologna . Among the speakers Don Luigi Ciotti, President of the Libera Association.

The two-day event in Bologna ends on Wednesday 25th at 3.00 pm, in the Sala delle Armi of the University of Bologna with the round table “The Bank of Italy for the protection of banking and financial customers”. At the center of the debate are individual protection and the tools available to consumers to assert their rights.

All “Traveling with the Bank of Italy” meetings have free admission upon reservation, while places last. During the events the public is directly involved and has the opportunity to interact with the speakers through an app.
