Some inhabitants who survived yesterday’s devastating earthquake between Syria and Turkey filmed several buildings razed to the ground, especially on the Turkish coasts (TURKEY-SYRIA EARTHQUAKE: LIVEBLOG – INTERNATIONAL AID). The death toll from the powerful earthquake of magnitude 7.8 is currently almost 5,000 victims, but according to the Turkish Authority for Disaster and Emergency Management and the WHO, it could still rise a lot.

This video posted by Storyful shows several buildings razed along a highway in Iskenderun on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast after a powerful earthquake on Monday. More than 16,000 people have been injured in Turkey as relief operations continue unabated in the affected areas.
