Ufo Robot is about to return, with all its thousand-valve circuits. Manga Productions and Dynamic Planning have in fact announced the launch of the official teaser of Grendizer U, the new anime series with a new logo and new characteristics for the protagonists. The release is scheduled for next year on TV channels and streaming platforms.

The official teaser – which you can see in the video at the head of this article – was launched on the occasion of the AkibaDaisuki festival in Tokyo and received positive feedback from the public. The event was attended by key members of the anime and manga communities, such as manga artist Go Nagai, creator of Ufo Robot, executive producer of Dynamic Planning Ichinao Nagai, director Mitsuo Fukuda, character designer Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, screenwriter Ichiro Okouchi and Essam Bukhary, CEO of Manga Productions.

AN EXCEPTIONAL TEAM
The anime’s creative and production team includes Go Nagai, director Mitsuo Fukuda known for his work on Mobile Suit Gundam SEEDand character designer Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, who worked on Neon Genesis Evangelion And Summer Wars. The screenwriter is Ichiro Okouchi, best known for his work in Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellionand the music was composed by Kohei Tanaka, famous for his work in ONE PIECE And sakura wars.
Last year a strategic partnership was defined with Dynamic Planning, which granted Manga the licensing rights for the distribution of products and characters from the series in Middle Eastern cities Ufo Robot Grendizer. The first result of the partnership was the unveiling of the “Goldrake” statue in the capital Riyadh, recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as the largest metal figure of a fictional character in the world, over 33 meters tall.

Known in France as Goldorak and in Italy as Grendizer And UFO robots, Grendizer is a large robot launched in 1975 to save the planet Fleed and help Daisuke Amon, better known as Duke Fleed, to reach the earth safely and defend the planet and its inhabitants. The series has had great success especially in the Arab world, France and Italy and has become iconic in the world of animation and manga.
