The measure was published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
Among the recipients of the sanctions, reports Interfax, the owner of Severstal Alexei Mordashov, the CEO of Rosneft Igor Sechin, the head of Transneft Nikolai Tokarev and the businessman Sergei Roldugin. Blacklisted insurance company Sogas, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, Minister of Construction, Housing and Public Services Irek Faizullin and Transport Minister Vitaly Savelyev, as well as director and actor Tigran Keosayan. Sanctions take effect today.
