Ukrainian war, Kiev anti-aircraft missile fell in Belarus

The air defense of Belarus this morning shot down a Ukrainian missile. This was reported by the Belarusian Defense Ministry, quoted by the BelTA agency. Parts of the missile were found in a field near the village of Gorbakha, Ivanovo district, Brest Oblast. The pieces belonged to an S-300 guided missile launched from Ukrainian territory. There are no casualties.

Missile shot down

The head of state Alexander Lukashenko was immediately informed of the incident. Military officials and technicians immediately went to the scene. At first, the track of the accident similar to the one that recently occurred in Poland, where a missile flew in the wrong direction, was not excluded. But then, as the hours went by, the other hypothesis prevailed, that of his shooting down by the air defense forces of Belarus.

Russian attacks

The Russians launched a massive rocket attack across Ukraine this morning, firing over a hundred shells to which Ukrainian anti-aircraft responded.

13 Russian Air Force planes and 2 missile carriers in the Black Sea went into action, reports the governor of Mykolaiv, a city in a state of alert together with Kiev and Kherson. A missile was reported arriving at the northeastern city of Sumy. More missiles have entered Ukrainian airspace.
