Ukrainian war, Zelenska: “At some point we will have to say an end”

The President’s wife at the World Economic Forum in Davos: “If people unite, they can move mountains. And we believe that the world will unite for peace”

“At some point we will have to pronounce an end to this war“, “in order to allow our people scattered around the world to return home, fathers, mothers and children to return from the front, families to reunite”, Olena Zelenska declared, speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos “Unity is what brings peace back,” he added.

“Today I would like to deliver to my colleagues and my counterparts in the Forum letters from the Ukrainian President addressed to the President of the Swiss Confederation, Alain Berset, to the President of the Commission Ursula Von der Leyen, to the Chinese President Xi Jinping in which it is written – in all of them – that if people unite, they can move mountains. And we believe that the world will unite for peace. Ukraine has already received positive responses from many heads of state about their willingness to work together on the peace formula.”
