On February 16th it arrives exclusively on Sky and streaming only on NOW A love, the new Sky Original series created by Stefano Accorsi and Enrico Audenino for which the official trailer is released today. A six-episode series produced by Sky Studios and Cattleya, part of ITV Studios, with the Ministry of Culture – Directorate General for Cinema and Audiovisual and with the support of the Emilia-Romagna Region, through the Emilia-Romagna Film Commission. The director, screenwriters and cast take turns in front of the camera and microphone to tell the story, setting and characters of Un amore. The protagonists of the special are the director and screenwriter Francesco Lagi, the screenwriter Enrico Audenino and the cast members: Stefano Accorsi and Luca Santoro, who interpret and narrate Alessandro as an adult and as a boy respectively; Micaela Ramazzotti and Beatrice Fiorentini, who lend their face and voice to Anna as an adult and as a girl; Alessandro Tedeschi who is Guido, Anna’s husband; Ottavia Piccolo who is Teresa, Alessandro’s mother.
The love between Anna and Alessandro was born by chance during an interrail in Spain and continued by choice, through an epistolary correspondence lasting over 20 years, without the two ever seeing each other again. Until Alessandro returns to Bologna for family reasons and decides to propose a meeting to Anna… Past and present merge, Alessandro and Anna exist in our eyes only together, everything that happened between their two meetings is narrated only from the letters they exchanged, and their life ends up inevitably being overturned by the feeling that has never subsided.
The cast, in addition to the aforementioned Stefano Accorsi, Micaela Ramazzotti, Alessandro Tedeschi, Ottavia Piccolo, Luca Santoro and Beatrice Fiorentini, also includes Andrea Roncato, Ivan Zerbinati and Camille Dugay.
