As the magazine points out Rolling Stone,” there appears to be another version of your demo on your computer’s desktop, saved as Its Dark Here Mama. There is also a keffiyeh, a Palestinian symbol, draped across the screen.” There are no further details for now, the music magazine notes RS.

We remind you that Roger Waters has long been a declared anti-Israeli, as well as the face of BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions), the pro-Palestinian non-profit organization committed to boycotting brands that are associated in any way with the State of Israel.

Roger Waters’ activism began in 2006, the year in which, during a planned stop in Tel Aviv, he visited the separation wall on the border with the West Bank. “The wall is a scary construction. It is patrolled by young Israeli soldiers who threatened me, a harmless visitor from another world, with contemptuous aggression,” Waters said at the time during the Neve Shalom live. In the end he called for “the end of apartheid” suffered by the Palestinians.

The lyrics with the translation of the song

The song Under the Rubbleregarding the part heard in the clip shared by Waters, presents the following text:
“Papa, I want to go home now, papa please take me home, mama please tell me I’m dreaming, and ill wake up somewhere and I won’t be alone, mama its dark here, dad has stopped breathing, mama mama ”.

The verse can be translated as follows, in the translation proposed by Rolling Stone Italy:

“Daddy, I want to go home now, Daddy, please take me home, Mommy, please tell me I’m dreaming, and I’ll wake up somewhere and I won’t be alone, Mommy, it’s dark in here, Daddy stopped breathing, Mommy -mom”.
