The request for participation can be submitted for one of the projects that will be carried out between 2024 and 2025 throughout the national territory and abroad. Aspirants must submit the application to participate exclusively through the dedicated online platform
The call for the selection of 52,236 volunteer operators to be employed in projects linked to the universal civil service to be carried out in Italy and abroad has been published. It will be possible to submit the application for participation until 2pm on Thursday 15 February 2024. The request for participation can be submitted for one of the projects that will be carried out between 2024 and 2025 throughout the national territory and abroad.
There will be 51,132 volunteer operators who will be put into service in 2,023 projects, relating to 328 intervention programs, to be carried out in Italy; while there will be 1,104 volunteers who will serve in 160 projects, relating to 30 intervention programs, abroad.
The projects have a duration of between 8 and 12 months, with service hours equal to 25 hours per week or with an annual amount of hours that varies between 1,145 hours for 12-month projects and 765 hours for 8-month projects, spread over five or six days a week.
The selected voluntary operators will sign a contract with the Department which establishes, among other things, the amount of the monthly allowance for carrying out the service (507.30 euros) subject to increases based on the variation, ascertained by Istat.
In order to participate in the selection, it is necessary to identify the SCU project on which to be involved. To access the list of SCU projects in Italy and abroad, you need to use the “Choose your project in Italy” and “Choose your project abroad” search engines, available in the “Projects” section of the dedicated portal. By clicking the “Search” button (without making a choice in the other fields offered) you obtain the complete list of all the projects. To carry out a targeted search for a project it is possible to select the values of the items that interest you. The number of applications received for that location is also displayed on the project detail page; this data is updated to the day before viewing. After selecting the project of interest, it is advisable to consult the homepage of the owner’s website, where the sheet containing the essential elements of the project is published.
