The seminar “Tools and standards to facilitate urban regeneration”, organized by Aspesi, the National Association of Real Estate Promotion and Development Companies, a member of Confedilizia, was held today in the Council Chamber of the Rome Chamber of Commerce. Aspesi, born in 1993 in Milan with the aim of bringing together entrepreneurs in the real estate sector and representing their interests, mainly associates companies that invest in initiatives for the enhancement, development and recovery of buildings and building areas. Since 2021, the association has broadened its objectives of representing the sector by also becoming the Real Estate Union. It is based in Milan, Turin, Rome, Cuneo and in the Veneto region.
During the conference, the point was taken on urban and metropolitan redevelopment in Rome, from the unused real estate assets to the regulatory issues that allow cooperation between the public and private sectors; innovative solutions were identified and proposed to respond to the needs of social, professional and territorial reorganisation, also through the reuse of private and public areas and buildings. Among Aspesi’s objectives is the desire to pay attention to the simplification of procedures and the overcoming of intended uses to favor the modernization of the city, as well as to solicit the parliamentary debate on the definition of legislation for urban regeneration. During the seminar, two discussion tables were held, one dedicated to the reuse of public and private assets and one dedicated to the regulatory aspects. The event saw the participation of numerous entrepreneurs, planners and important political exponents of the Municipality and the Region.
