The Minister of Business and Made in Italy spoke with a video message at the inauguration of the first Italian hydrogen train
“Coradia Stream was entirely made in Italy. Alstom has demonstrated that it is at the forefront, offering the market innovative, technologically advanced and sustainable products. In the decarbonisation path, the transport sector must respect the standards set by the Paris agreements. The railway lines are a lever to accelerate the ecological transition, in Italy and Europe. For this reason, the government is committed to supporting the productive fabric in the path of decarbonisation in the economy”. This was said by the Minister of Business and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, speaking with a video message at the inauguration of the first Italian hydrogen train in Milan Rho.
“Hydrogen represents a strategic vector that can replace traditional fuels effectively. Over 2 billion in Pnrr funds have been allocated to this technology to encourage research, development and innovation. These specific resources for hydrogen they add to the 25 billion, already foreseen by the Pnrr, for the railway network. Important and significant resources that we must make the best use of”.
