Usa, Trump: “I will never abandon” the 2024 race for the White House

Donald Trump announced yesterday that he would “never quit” the 2024 White House race, despite being indicted on 34 counts. Interviewed by Fox News, the former US president said that nothing would prevent him from running, not even a conviction. “I would never retire,” he said: “It’s not my style. I wouldn’t.”

“Biden? He is unable to run again”

The 76-year-old Trump then expressed his doubts about the ability of Biden – who is 80 – to participate in the 2024 race. “I don’t see how that’s possible,” he said. “It’s not a matter of age … I don’t think he can do it.” And then: “I don’t see Biden capable of doing it physically or mentally. I don’t see it”.

The words on Macron

During the interview Trump also spoke of international politics. “The world has gone mad, it’s exploding, and the United States has absolutely no say in it,” he said. Then, referring to the recent meeting in China between French President Emmanuel Macron and Chinese leader Xi Jinping, he said: ‘And Macron, who is a friend of mine, is with China kissing his ass. In China! I thought: ‘ France is now turning to China'”.

Macron during a state visit to China last week warned that Europeans should not be tied to US foreign policy. In particular, in a comment to journalists, Macron said that European countries should not get involved in the tension between Beijing and Washington over the Taiwan question.
