The Venetians with full points after 2 days, Rome without victories
Verona beat Roma 2-1 in the advance on the calendar for the second day of Serie A 2023-2024. The Venetians impose themselves with goals from Duda and Ngonge. The Giallorossi close the gap with Aouar but do not complete the comeback. Verona flies to 6 points at the top of the standings, the formation of Mourinho – who awaits the arrival of Lukaku from Chelsea – remains at 1 winless in 180 minutes.

Mourinho changes Roma with 3 substitutions. The insertion of Aouar, in particular, turns out to be spot on.
