Vincenzo La Russa, brother of the senator of Fdi Ignazio, died at the age of 83. Born in Sicily in PaternĂ², civil lawyer, Vincenzo La Russa, following in the footsteps of his father Antonino who was a senator of the MSI, had embarked on a political career, first as a municipal and provincial councilor of Milan, the city where he had moved with his family and where he had studied, attending the Faculty of Law at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, obtaining a degree with a thesis on constitutional law.
In 1983 he became a senator in the VIII Legislature with the Christian Democrats in the college of Rho (Milan) and was subsequently elected deputy in the IX Legislature, in the college of Milan-Pavia always under the symbol of the Scudocrociato from 1983 to 1987. Following the dissolution of the DC he joined the CCD, with which he was re-elected to the Senate in the college of Caltagirone-PaternĂ².
In 1994 the Senate designated him as a member of the parliamentary assembly of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg (of which he became vice-president) and of the parliamentary assembly of the European Union (Western European Union) in Paris. He remained at Palazzo Madama until 1996.
