Unique case in the TV panorama, in the first two weeks the average is 20.03% against 14.39% in the first two weeks of broadcast in 2022
At the end of the second week of broadcast of ‘Viva Rai2’, Fiorello is credited as the phenomenon of the television season. Yesterday, ‘Viva Rai2’ obtained 995,000 viewers with a 19.6% share but the average of the first two weeks went beyond the most optimistic expectations: in the first ten episodes (the program is broadcast from Monday to Friday) it obtained an average of 1,035,000 spectators with a 20.03% share, establishing an astonishing increase over last year, when the average audience for the first two weeks of broadcast was 666,000 spectators with a 14.39% share share. Last year the showman debuted a month later in the season, on December 5, but a 5.64% increase in the program’s share over the previous season is a figure that is not only very high but cannot be found elsewhere, according to what the Adnkronos.
It was already understood that Fiorello and his ‘Viva Rai2’ were destined to remain in the annals of television due to the innovative characteristics of the show. But this is combined with a ratings performance (2023 out of 2022) that has no equal in the Italian television panorama (and probably also beyond our borders). The contraction of the linear TV audience in favor of on-demand use sees almost all the viewing figures for programs already broadcast in past seasons face a decrease.
