After having sold many pieces abroad, the V series of vivo also arrives in Italy, and does so with an interesting smartphone, especially for those who love selfies and, like creators, use the front camera a lot: we are talking about vivo v21 5G .
The particularities of the photographic sector
vivo V21 5G is equipped with a 44 megapixel front camera supported by an OIS image stabilization system: thanks to the integration of artificial intelligence and an innovative light sensor, it allows you to take always clear photos in the most diverse circumstances, from photos and moving video at night shots. That’s not all: on the upper edge of the smartphone we also find two small flashes (“Dual Selfie Spotlight”) which together with the backlighting of the screen allow you to get selfies (but also video calls) always well lit, even in low light conditions. V21 5G has a 64-megapixel rear camera “supported by a series of secondary cameras – they explain – to handle wide-angle and more complex shots and macro photography”. Present the Dual View option to record videos simultaneously from both sides of the screen (a function that many smartphones have come out this year) and advanced artificial intelligence technology to improve facial features. The photos we took certainly reflect the quality of all these functions: we appreciated the rendering of the selfies but also of the night shots (on the other hand, on the pushed zooms there is probably still a little to work). The videos are also very good, both the “traditional” ones and those that take advantage of the Dual View mode, and those in motion, which were well stabilized.
The other features
vivo V21 is a smartphone that is comfortable to hold and hold in your pocket, weighs about 175 grams and is 7.29 mm thick. Under the “hood” we find a MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor, 8 gigabytes of Ram and 128 gigabytes of storage space while the operating system is Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11. A 4,000 mAh battery is installed inside the smartphone which in the our tests with the 33W FlashCharge charger included in the package we fully recharged in about an hour and 10 minutes (in half an hour you get from 0 to 46%, in an hour from 0 to 94%). Present compatibility with fast 5G networks, present the dual sim (instead of the second sim you can install a Micro SD). Finally, the color rendering on the 6.44-inch display is good.

vivo V21 5G is, therefore, a mid-range smartphone suitable for younger consumers, for those who take lots of photos, for those who use the selfie camera a lot such as vloggers or for those who publish many stories on Instagram. vivo v21 5G has a list price of 449 euros and is sold in the colors Dusk Blue and Sunset Dazzle.
