The recent episode of House of the Dragon left fans sulking when the episode’s lighting issue resurfaced as its prequel, game of Thrones .
Man fans took to social media to express their discontent that the show’s lighting was too dim. A similar complaint was filed against the show’s prequel.
Hours before the episode aired, writer and podcast host Joanna Robinson advised fans on Twitter: “I liked this week’s episode of #HouseOfTheDragon but sure yeah watch it with all the curtains drawn and maybe , yes, consider The Neil Settings.”
“Can someone turn up the brightness on this episode? I can’t (expletive)”a fan tweeted alongside a viral meme of a woman squinting.
“OMG I can’t see (expletive) during the beach scene between daemon and rhaenyra… I can’t even see their damn faces”another fan tweeted.
While others compared the episode to the Game of Thrones episode of The Long Night.
“Damn, why (expletive) is this episode so dark that it’s worse than ‘The Long Night’? I can’t watch (expletive)”one viewer tweeted.
“I see that HBO learned absolutely nothing after the complaints that ‘The Long Night’ was too dark”another wrote. “If I was watching #HouseOfTheDragon on a worse TV, I’d be pissed.”
