In the heart of Calabria there is a place with Scandinavian scenery, just over 30 minutes from the sea, with vast plateaus and lakes cloaked in forests: it is the Sila National Park, 150,000 hectares shared between the provinces of Cosenza, Crotone and Catanzaro. A surprising land that Norman Douglas, a traveler on the Grand Tour, already described at the beginning of the twentieth century as “an authentic virgin forest never touched by human hands” and of which Virgil and Pliny praised the majesty, speaking of the forest that covers it, known in antiquity as silva brutia (forest of the Bruzi people). Precisely in this landscape, on August 12, 2023, in Cotronei (KR) Villaggio Baffa, the 1st edition of the Wonderful Sila Festival comes to life. The Wonderful Sila Festival, organized by Gibelle Srl, with the help of the artistic direction as well as legal advice from Antonio Vandoni, Gibba and the lawyer Emanuele Trocino of the Firm

Legal Associate Trocino Staine, provides a large program of live concerts,

extra entertainment and activities.

Saturday 12 August 2023 will open with the concert by Domenico Scordamaglia and then continue with Anima Mundi, Liccia, Renato Caruso, Francesco Coriale, Antheo, Dharma, Dj Keyel, Santino Cardamone and others, to then arrive at Andy Fumagalli (ex Bluvertigo) and Saturnino (historical bassist of Jovanotti), Maninni, Eman, Pierdavide Carone and the Boomdabash, concluding the day with the Dj Set Dance Hall Radio 105.bb The festival will be presented by Vanessa Gray and Francesco Rapetti Mogol.

The Wonderful Sila provides extra activities with Food & Beverage stands, merchandising

“Wonderful Sila Festival” and the unmissable exhibition of the Casa Mia Martini museum, in partnership with the “Minuetto Mimì Sara” association, which for the occasion will arrive in Sila and will exhibit for the first time in Calabria personal objects that belonged to the great and unforgettable Mia Martini. Thanks to the extensive collaboration with local authorities, the Festival will be supported by local tourist activities such as restaurants, hotels, car parks, points of attraction (rides in the Sila woods, the cable car to admire the landscape…); moreover, in collaboration with the Village Baffa there is the possibility of using the airfield service for any travel with

helicopters and planes, the go kart track, the soccer fields and much more. We promote all kinds of diversity and encourage individual expression by all. As every major event, Wonderful Sila Festival has an important impact on the environment that it

hosts. We dedicate a great effort to reduce the impact as much as possible, also counting on the help of the participants.
