V – Also known in Italy as Visitors, is a miniseries that aired in 1983 on NBC, followed the following year by another miniseries and then by a series of 19 episodes. It tells of the arrival of an alien race that announces that it is coming in peace with the intention of using raw materials that are now running out on their planet, in exchange for advanced technological knowledge.
