From tonight, on the stage of the Repower Theater in Milan, the path of the 12 artists and the 4 judges Fedez, Ambra Angiolini, Dargen D’Amico and Rkomi begins, which will lead to the final victory
The challenge comes alive at X Factor 2022. After 6 weeks of tense selections, now the music is done live, on the stage of the Repower Theater in Milan. From tonight, Thursday 27 October, on Sky and streaming on NOW, Live starts with the jury made up of Fedez, Ambra Angiolini, Dargen D’Amico and Rkomi, each at the helm of 4 heterogeneous rosters for 12 competitors in total.
The path to reach the final victory therefore comes to life with the competitors who will have to prove their talent and ability to express themselves in front of the jury and the general public. Conducting the show Francesca Michielin, ’emblem’ of the program that in 2011 saw her debut in the race, crowning her the winner and now, after many successes, many prizes won and various participations in the Sanremo Festival, crowns her at the helm of the first live television from presenter.
During the first live of X Factor, the competing artists will be divided into two rounds in which they will propose Italian and international covers. The second live, scheduled for Thursday 3 November, will instead be a themed episode, entitled ‘Mtv generation’: an evening dedicated to artists, genres and video clips that made the history of the nineties. The unpublished films will arrive only to the fourth episode, because “things have to be done step by step”. After all, “music is a serious matter and if it takes years and years to train in studies, with degrees, masters and advanced courses, music also takes time”.
The guest of the first live will be Elisa, accompanied on the piano by Dardust: the singer-songwriter will present a preview of a small taste of what, from next December 1st, will be a new live show entitled ‘An Intimate Night’. Also during the first episode, Dardust will propose an unpublished medley extracted from ‘Duality’, his new work to be released on October 28th.
In the third episode, an international super guest Yungblud, an English rock star with over 3.5 billion total streams. The X Factor live shows will be broadcast every Thursday at 9.15 pm on Sky Uno and streaming on Now, as well as always available on demand and visible on Sky Go; the Wednesday following the first on air they will then be shown in prime time on Tv8.
