“Minimum ratings and continuous controversy, ready to start collecting signatures to ask for a stop”
The Codacons go back to the topic say X Factor’ to ask Sky Italia to definitively close the program. The association announced this to Adnkronos, underlining that the show “has lost its music-based identity and the discovery of new talent: it’s time for the broadcaster to take note of the evidence and close a program it collects now regularly low ratingsnow representing only the elective place of a series of personal controversies which largely do not interest audiences at home.”
The Association, “faced with the obvious problems of the program, and also on the basis of the reports received and collected on the web, notes that the basic conditions of the program have now disappeared: music and the discovery of new talents, which should be at the center of the program but of which, between suspicions of professionalism and continuous wars between judges, there is almost no trace left”.
For this reason, “in line with what is requested of other broadcasters in the face of similar reports from users, Codacons asks Sky Italia to order the closure of the programme in the aftermath of the final. In the absence of a response, the Association will start a signature collection to ask for the closure of the program.”
